The Main Common Room (MCR) is the heart of social life in the college. It is the venue for large functions such as guest lectures, seminar, music nights, movies as well as informal gatherings for residents and their guests.
The MCR is fitted with a large projection screen and a surround-sound AV system for viewing movies and sports events. The piano in the MCR gets consistent use by many resident musicians.

The TV/projection room is located in the centre of the first floor of the college, off the courtyard balcony. The room is air-conditioned and has access to cable TV.
The music room is located next to the TV room on the first floor. This sound-proof room, which is fitted with air-conditioning and soft furnishings, features a piano and drum kit and is a comfortable place for individuals to practice.
The College courtyard features a large timber deck, surrounded by native trees and ferns, under the shade of a magnificent magnolia tree.
This space is used for informal gatherings or for large functions, such as pre-dinner drinks before major college functions.
Each of the 5 residential floors has a common room. These rooms are decorated with comfortable sofas and a kitchenette (equipped with a sink, microwave oven, fridge, etc).
Common rooms are a focal point for “floor” life, a place to meet for “coffee club” on most weeknights, a movie or to gather informally for a chat.
The graduate wing accommodates seven guests in private suites. These rooms are ideally suited to visiting academics and postgraduate students. Each suite includes air-conditioning, a telephone, Internet access and storage space.
Guests of the graduate wing have access to the guest lounge and a kitchenette.
